White Mountains - The Hike

Same trip, but of the actual hike this time. We weren't too good at
planning, so we ended up taking way too much food, way too much gear,
and all that meant was we took way too much weight and the hike was
really hard because of that fact. However, it was still a great trip.
The picture of the shoes is at the end of the trail as the sun was
"setting" (well, as much as it can do in Alaska in the middle of July).

White Mountains

Back in July of 2008, Kat, ML and I took a hiking trip to the White
mountains. It was a great trip, and we all enjoyed ourselves quite a
bit. Good memories.

Denali National Park

Here's a few selected shots from the Zion Youth Denali trip.  We camped in Denali for three nights and four days..  Every day we took a hike to a different part of the park and read our bibles when we got there.  During one of those days we took the bus into the park all the way to Eielson where we hiked up the hill just across the road.  It was a pretty impressive thing to do: Read God's word while looking at the hugeness around you and knowing that God is bigger than that.  And yes, Denali was out a few times while we were there.
