New years fireworks

It wasn't something I thought about before I moved to Fairbanks, but
since it's so light during July, they can't have Independence Day
fireworks, so they have them for New Years, and boy are they some good
fireworks. It's a little chilly to stand out side and watch them
though, so we found someone who had access to the closest building on
campus and watched them from inside the building. Much warmer... ;-)
